Honda's hybrid coupe, the CR-Z, has its world premiere at the North American International Auto Show last week.

The CR-Z combines a gasoline-electric hybrid with a manual six-speed transmission in an elegant coupé body. Honda expects the new coupe will change the perception of hybrid, says the new car has adapted a driver-oriented chassis and engine.

Honda Signature design features, including the two levels in the trap rear window and sloping roof.

Teams CR-Z is a manual transmission with a gas-electric engine for the first time since the five-speed manual 2003 Honda Civic IMA and says that this is possible only because of its flexibility IMA-Parallel-Hybrid System.

The gearbox is a 1.5-liter engine with four cylinders connected and is a key element in the uniqueness of the CR-Z. Nature revvy motor is located with an additional 78Nm torque by the electric motor 10 kW, between the engine and transmission improvements planned.

The 1.5-liter engine with the power and torque of the parallel hybrid IMA system provides an output of 91kw and 174Nm torque combined total.

The peak torque figure is identical to the 1.8 liter Civic and CO2 emissions of just 117g/km 35g/km lower.
